Registered Nurse (RN) - Ambulatory Infusion
Provides direct and indirect patient care in ambulatory infusion for patients with cancer, autoimmune diseases, infections, and more. Requires an unencumbered Oregon RN license and BLS; IV therapy, PICC/midline, chemotherapy, and infusion or oncology certification are preferred, with a pre-employment drug screen.
- JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
- The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for utilizing the nursing process to provide safe, age-appropriate, direct and indirect patient care, while practicing within the scope of practice of the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
- DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
- Ambulatory Infusion staff are knowledgeable in the care of patients with cancer, autoimmune diseases, infections and more. We provide expert care to the patients and all of their infusion needs.
- EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required.
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS required.
- GSR Ambulatory Infusion:
- All job offers are contingent upon the candidate passing a pre-employment/post offer drug screen.
- IV Therapy experience preferred.
- PICC and midline proficiency preferred.
- Chemotherapy experience preferred.
- Infusion (CRNI) and/or Oncology (OCN) national certification preferred.

- Computer Literacy - Knowledge of electronic equipment, computer hardware and software, including applications and programming. Ability to operate applications, write software, set up functions, enter data, and manipulate and process information.

- Patient Care - Possess the skills and knowledge needed to assist and care for others. Ability to recognize symptoms, drug properties and interactions, treatments, and preventive health-care measures within scope of practice. Ability to assess, evaluate and reassess, using the nursing process; the ongoing needs of the patient, patient's family and organize resources to meet those needs. Knowledge of role for applicable Plain Language Alerts.
