Job Summary

Essential Functions

- Verify operational readiness of vehicle(s) and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle(s), both inside and outside.
- Responds promptly to calls received from the Dispatch Center.
- Operate vehicle(s) in a safe, courteous and efficient manner, focusing on safety and following state driving laws.
- Interact in an appropriate manner with the individual begin transported, member of their family and other health professionals.
- Prepare written documentation in a complete, timely and accurate manner.
- Attends staff meetings, complies with employee health requirements and completed mandatory employee training programs.
- Operate as a driver on an ambulance team as needed to meet volume demands.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
