Join a leading multinational company serving the Aerospace, Defense, Transportation, and Security industries.

Position Details

  • Location: Plantation, FL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite; Tuesday and Wednesday mandatory)
  • Pay Rate: $94/hr. on W2
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance
  • Contract: 14+ months (potential extension or permanent conversion)
  • Schedule: 40 hours/week, core hours 10 AM–4 PM EST
  • Pay Frequency: Weekly

Interview Process

  • 30-minute initial team screening
  • Technical and non-technical panel interviews
  • At least one panel interview onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and refactor embedded software for next-generation platforms.
  • Troubleshoot complex software issues, including multithreaded applications.
  • Participate in software requirements, design reviews, and product releases.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, security, and testing teams.
  • Mentor junior engineers and communicate project progress.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of relevant software engineering experience.
  • 3+ years of embedded systems experience.
  • 3+ years of programming experience in C/C++.
  • Experience with software configuration management tools.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, particularly with multithreaded applications.

Preferred Skills

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • Java or Python.
  • AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud APIs.
  • Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and virtualization.
  • REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, and CI/CD.
  • Agile/SAFe methodologies.
  • TLS/SSL and encryption security.
