Digital Communications Specialist
Temporary 4-month assignment supporting corporate communications with social media and digital content, including photography, videography, writing, editing, and content calendar support. Bachelor's degree preferred; experience with photography, videography, digital content, or social media preferred.
Position Summary
The Digital Communications Specialist (Temporary Contract) will support The Marzetti Company's Corporate Communications team with social media and digital content development. This role will primarily focus on creating engaging visual and written content, including photography and videography, and supporting the execution of communications initiatives across digital channels.Key Responsibilities
- Create digital content for the company's social media and other communications channels.
- Capture and edit photography and video content for use across social media, internal communications, and other digital platforms.
- Assist with the development of social media posts and other written content.
- Support the management and organization of the social media content calendar.
- Assist with coordinating content needs across departments and company initiatives.
- Support communications projects and campaigns through content creation, editing, and execution.
- Help organize and maintain digital assets, including photography and video files.
- Provide general project and communications support to the Corporate Communications team as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, digital media, or a related field preferred.
- Experience or demonstrated capability in photography, videography, digital content creation, or social media.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively and take direction in a team environment.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content tools.
- Experience with photo and/or video editing tools preferred.
