Pay Rate: $48/hour on W2

About the Role

We’re looking for a Business Analyst I to join a team focused on business operations, data analytics, asset management, and process improvement.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys analyzing data, improving workflows, creating documentation, solving operational problems, and identifying opportunities to make repetitive processes more efficient through automation.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and able to translate complex information into clear processes and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze asset and operational data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
  • Define, validate, and combine datasets from multiple sources
  • Perform data analysis using SQL and Excel
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and system functionality
  • Support process redesign, automation, and system enhancements
  • Analyze repetitive work and recommend automated solutions
  • Support solution testing, debugging, documentation, and system issue resolution
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, guidelines, and process documentation
  • Create process maps, workflow diagrams, flowcharts, and Visio documentation
  • Gather information from subject matter experts and functional teams
  • Coordinate documentation review cycles and incorporate stakeholder feedback
  • Communicate findings and problems through clear written and graphical reports
  • Manage assigned workflows independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy
  • Support weekly team deliverables and contribute to additional projects based on business needs

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Basic SQL knowledge and experience writing queries
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience developing, reviewing, or mapping business processes and workflows
  • Experience creating SOPs, work instructions, or technical/process documentation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding or exposure to AI technologies
  • Ability to design practical solutions to complex business problems

Nice to Have:

  • Python experience
  • Experience with enterprise applications
  • Microsoft Visio experience
  • Data analytics or statistical analysis experience
  • Process automation experience
  • Asset management or operations experience
