Ameri-Force is hiring Welders for a leading steel pressure pipe manufacturer in Palatka, FL. You’ll inspect, finish and repair welded steel cylinders used in large-diameter pressure pipe for water transmission, sewer and penstock systems. This role suits a hands-on welder who takes pride in quality work and wants steady hours with overtime opportunities.

What You’ll Do
- Perform weld repairs to applicable specifications
- Back gouge and back weld
- Cut with oxy-acetylene
- Grind and finish welded surfaces
- Inspect welds and identify defects
- Measure and document repairs accurately
- Follow all safety rules, policies and procedures
- Maintain quality and production standards
What You Need
- FCAW welding experience
- Ability to pass a 3G FCAW weld test with back gouge and back weld
- Ability to produce welds that consistently meet quality and inspection standards
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, measurements and specifications
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment

- SMAW (stick) experience
- SAW (SubArc) experience
