Specialist I - Cultivation. Vermont, IL
Plant maintenance and monitoring in vegetation and flowering rooms, with recordkeeping and use of BioTrack. Schedule is 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri with alternating 5th weekend; requires a high school diploma, age 21+, ability to lift over 50 lbs, and a federal background check.
Cultivation Technician
Schedule: 7am-3:30pm Mon-Friday (Alternating 5th Weekend)
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform plant maintenance using standard operating procedures within the vegetation and flowering rooms
- Monitor plant health
- Must follow all applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines; including the safe and proper operation of any/all applicable machinery, instrumentation, and equipment.
- Work as a team to meet production schedules.
- Good communication skills with co-workers and management.
- Practice good housekeeping habits throughout the plant with focus and personal contributions towards a clean and organized assigned work area at the end of the assigned shift. Including, mopping floors, sanitizing work spaces and sweeping.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Maintain accurate records of daily production and communicate those records to management.
- Understand and apply the use of BioTrack, our seed to sale tracking program.
- Possess a willingness to work hard and learn every day.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Greenhouse experience a plus, but not required
- Working longer hours as needed, including weekends and holidays.
- Working indoors as well as outdoors during all seasonal temperatures and weather conditions.
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs., ability to perform tasks sitting, standing, stretching, walking, bending, reaching and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to work as a team player
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to pass a Federal background check
- Must be willing and able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
