Looking for full time wine sales rep
Call on on-premise and off-premise accounts, open new accounts, expand placements, and host in-store tastings and trade events. Requires 3+ years in wholesale wine sales or equivalent hospitality leadership/buying experience.
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to expand our footprint across the New York metropolitan area. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, securing new placements, and fostering long-term relationships with both on- and off-premise buyers.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Growth: Call on on-premise and off-premise accounts to present our portfolio, open new accounts, and expand placements in existing ones.
Route Planning: Organize and execute a structured daily schedule of sales calls across your assigned territory.
Relationship Building: Work closely with retailers, sommeliers, and buyers to provide top-tier service and meet monthly and annual sales goals.
Market Engagement: Host in-store tastings, participate in trade events, and work alongside supplier reps and sales managers during field rides.
Strategy: Maintain consistent account planning and clear communication with management to support broader brand initiatives.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 3 years in wholesale wine sales or equivalent leadership/buying experience in hospitality.
Product Knowledge: A foundational understanding of natural, low-intervention wines and a drive to keep learning.
Sales Drive: Proven track record of creating new business opportunities and closing sales.
Independence: Highly self-motivated with strong time-management, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Compensation & Perks
Base salary (first 6 months guaranteed transition period) + commission on all sales
