Maintains and repairs building facilities, including doors, windows, locks, tile, masonry, wood, preventive maintenance, and equipment; competency in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or plant operations required. Requires a high school diploma, 3+ years' building maintenance experience, and may require a Georgia driver's license.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains the safe operation and maintenance of building facilities and has a proven competency in one of the following areas; electrical/wiring, mechanical/HVAC systems, plumbing/pipefitting or Plant Operations/Stationary Engineer.
- Repairs and adjusts doors, windows, closures, panic devices and locks.
- Patches holes, installs escutcheons, repairs ceiling and floor tile as needed to maintain building appearance.
- Makes minor masonry and wood repairs.
- Installs pictures, coat hooks, other wall hung furnishings, and equipment as requested.
- Performs preventive maintenance activities, responds to customer complaints, and repairs equipment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in building maintenance. Working knowledge in their area of competency of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, Plant operations, structural, or general carpentry.
- May require a valid Georgia driver's license and insurable driving record. Some positions within this classification may require the ability to lift 50 pounds and to bend, stoop, and twist.
