Maintenance Tech
Hands-on maintenance for cultivation and facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, irrigation, equipment installs, work orders, and emergency calls. Requires age 21+, high school diploma/GED, 2+ years’ experience, a driver’s license, and rotating/on-call availability.

As a Maintenance Tech you’ll keep our cultivation and facility systems running smoothly by performing preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, irrigation, and building infrastructure; responding to work orders and emergency calls; supporting equipment installs and upgrades; maintaining spare parts inventory; and partnering with cultivation staff to minimize downtime and protect product integrity.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on maintenance or facilities experience (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC)
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Comfortable using hand and power tools and reading technical diagrams/schematics
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds safely and perform physical tasks (climbing ladders, working in tight spaces)
- Able to work safely at heights and in humid/temperature-controlled cultivation environments
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and be eligible for Maryland cannabis agent registration
- Flexible schedule with availability for rotating shifts and emergency on-call response
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, safety-first mindset
- Willingness to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety policies, and regulatory requirements
- HVAC certification or EPA 608 certification; experience with commercial HVAC systems
- Electrical experience or relevant certification (experience with 120–480V systems)
- Plumbing, welding, carpentry, or refrigeration experience/certification
- Forklift or scissor-lift certification and safe operating experience
- Familiarity with automated building management systems (BMS), PLCs, or environmental controllers
- Experience with irrigation systems, fertigation pumps, and CO2 systems
- Experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to manage work orders
- OSHA 10 or 30, confined space, or other safety training
- Associate degree or technical schooling in a relevant trade
- First aid/CPR certification and strong incident-reporting practices
Salary
$25 - $40 USD per hourRequired Skills
