Job Description

Compensation: $17.25 to $22.50 / hour(Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.)

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential (Responsibilities)

  • Patient Connection: Take menu selections directly at the bedside and deliver meals with a smile
  • Tray Assembly: Build accurate patient food trays using our computerized ticket system
  • Cafeteria Service: Set up food stations, serve customers using proper food handling, and cashier transactions
  • Inventory Management: Keep stock levels perfectly filled by organizing and rotating products in daily refrigerator and unit floor spaces
  • Special Events: Help set up, decorate, and cater special hospital themes and holiday events


What You Bring to the Team (Qualifications/Experience)

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred (but not required)
  • Experience: Customer service or food service experience is a plus, but not required
  • Language & Math: Must be able to read, write, and understand English, alongside basic computation skills for cashiering
  • People Skills: A warm personality capable of connecting with patients, guests, and coworkers
  • Eager to Learn: Ability to grasp general nutrition principles and special patient diet modifications within 7-10 days
