Automation Engineering Technician

Supports engineering and manufacturing by assembling, troubleshooting, testing, calibrating, documenting, and training on equipment and processes. Requires technical school certification or related field, 2-5 years in industrial manufacturing, robotics and PLC experience, laser welding, and SolidWorks.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Automation Engineering Technician to support our engineering and manufacturing operations.

In this role, you will assist engineers in developing, testing, and improving products and processes. Responsibilities include performing hands-on assembly, troubleshooting equipment, conducting quality checks, and maintaining accurate documentation. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, proficiency with technical tools and software, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

This position requires a commitment to safety, precision, and continuous improvement.
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Assist Engineering team in implementing new processes, equipment, and product designs
  • Perform functional tests, collect data, and verify product quality against specifications
  • Maintain accurate documentation: Update work instructions, TWI, test plans, and records for compliance and traceability
  • Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems
  • Provide technical guidance and training to operators and other team members on new processes or equipment
  • Initiate and participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Understand machine process and design through maintenance activities
  • Use and knowledge of GD&T and PLM
  • Exhibit pro-active safety behavior
  • Compile engineering statistical data
  • Work with machine and hand tool
