What You'll Do
- Design and engineer site layouts, drainage, utilities, and roadways.
- Interpret zoning ordinances and regulatory requirements to ensure project compliance.
- Provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from conceptual design to construction oversight.
- Collaborate with architects, planners, environmental consultants, and other specialists to deliver cohesive, client-focused solutions.
- Promote innovative and sustainable design practices, including green infrastructure and smart growth strategies.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in land development and civil site design.
- Working towards licensure and/or are an EIT or PE if preferred (SC and/or NC).
- Strong knowledge of site design, stormwater management, and regulatory processes.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and other engineering software.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to engage with clients and project stakeholders.
