About the Role:

The 2027 Internship - Process Engineering offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in optimizing and improving manufacturing and facility processes within a dynamic engineering environment. Interns will work closely with experienced engineers to analyze current processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop innovative solutions that enhance productivity and safety. This role exposes students to a comprehensive understanding of facility operations, including equipment layout, workflow design, and process automation. Interns will contribute to projects that impact facility performance and sustainability, gaining exposure to real-world engineering challenges. By the end of the internship, candidates will have developed practical skills and insights that prepare them for a successful career in process engineering.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of process engineering principles and manufacturing operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Revit or CAD software.
  • Previous internship or project experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Basic understanding of facility safety standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills demonstrated through coursework or projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with full-service design teams to ensure process changes align with overall facility goals.
