2027 Internship - Electrical Engineering

Summer internship designing, simulating, and testing electrical building systems and components on commercial building projects. Requires enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field, plus Revit proficiency.

About the Role:

The 2027 Summer Internship in Electrical Engineering offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components. Interns will work closely with experienced engineers to contribute to real-world projects that impact building performance. This role is designed to enhance technical knowledge while developing problem-solving and project management skills in a professional engineering environment. By the end of the internship, candidates will have a comprehensive understanding of electrical engineering principles applied in industry settings and will have contributed meaningfully to ongoing commercial building projects.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of electrical engineering concepts.
  • Proficiency in using simulation and design software such as Revit.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous internship or project experience in an engineering or technical environment.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to electrical engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design and simulation of electrical building systems using industry-standard software tools.
  • Collaborate with the full-service design team to integrate electrical components into larger building systems.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve design functionality and efficiency.
