Key Responsibilities
- Support product design and development for medical device products.
- Develop and refine designs using CAD modeling and engineering drawings.
- Support CNC grinding setup, troubleshooting, and manufacturability improvements.
- Perform GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Conduct FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) to identify and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and R&D teams.
- Participate in design reviews, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement activities.
- Prepare technical documentation and support design control processes.
- Assist with transitioning new designs into production environments.
Must-Have Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 4+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Strong experience with FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis).
- Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Experience performing tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Experience supporting product design and development projects.
- Ability to work independently in a cross-functional environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Medical device industry experience.
- CNC grinding setup and troubleshooting experience.
- CAD modeling experience.
- Creo experience (especially surface modeling).
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Root cause analysis and manufacturing support experience.
- Advanced degree in Engineering.
