Mechanical Design Engineer - North Seattle Area - May 2026

Our client is looking for Design Engineers with Water Waste experience. This is a permanent role. Our client's focus is on commercial and military aircraft, they provide first class services in design, engineering, quality, certification, and manufacturing for their customers.

Responsibilities
• This includes research, data acquisition, engineering generated required to generate engineering product (parts list, drawing, documents, etc.)
• Ensuring the design content confirms to the company quality system procedures as documented, the customer statement of work, along with the applicable certification requirements
• Expected to have expertise in an applicable discipline of Aircraft Systems Design (e.g., air conditioning, potable water, waste).
• Prepare engineering product using applicable computer tools and programs maintaining high standards of quality, reliability, and safety in product designs
• Ensure that drawings and documents meet the standards established by the NAT quality system, customer requirements, and the applicable certification authority.

Knowledge/Experience
• Should have a 4 year engineering degree (i.e. Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Software Engineering) or industry experience that is equivalent.
• Experienced in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft PowerPoint,
• Have CAD skills like CATIA or Solidworks Or Inventor OR AutoCAD.
• Drawing management
• Troubleshooting/problem solving
• Ability to work independently or within a team
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
