Product Design Engineer
Designs and improves industrial valve products for Oil & Gas production, using SolidWorks for 3D models and drawings and supporting prototyping, testing, and production release. Requires Oil & Gas production equipment experience, strong mechanical background, and ASME/API knowledge.
The Product Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving industrial valve products used in Oil & Gas production environments. This role requires strong mechanical design capability, hands-on experience with valve engineering, and the ability to work within strict industry and safety standards.
The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of production equipment used in Oil & Gas operations and will be highly proficient in SolidWorks for 3D modeling, design validation, and drawing creation.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop industrial valve products for Oil & Gas production applications
- Create and modify detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks
- Support full product lifecycle including concept design, prototyping, testing, and production release
- Perform design calculations and ensure compliance with ASME, API, and industry standards
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure design feasibility
- Improve existing valve designs for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for field performance issues
- Participate in engineering reviews and design validation processes
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, controlled, and compliant with company standards
Required Qualifications
- Oil & Gas industry experience, specifically with production equipment (upstream/midstream strongly preferred)
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (required) for 3D modeling, drafting, and design documentation
- Strong mechanical engineering background
- Experience working with manufacturing teams and production environments
- Understanding of industry standards such as API, ASME, or equivalent
