CET - Engineering Lab Technician Student Worker (FWS/NFWS)
Assists with lab setup, supply monitoring, inventory, safety compliance, and equipment use in engineering labs. Must be a full-time GCU bachelor’s or master’s student in good standing; nights and Saturdays when needed, Solidworks preferred.
Responsibilities Related to Purpose:
• Assisting Lab Director and Lab and Coordinates with Lab Set up.
• Assisting with up-keep and supply monitoring.
• Responsible following all safety guidelines and instructions.
• Monitor the Engineering Labs and Capstone area assuring that students follow all safety guidelines and instructions.
• Learn and teach how to use equipment in the shops.
• Maintain an inventory Labs.
• Completing tasks as assigned by the lab coordinator.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Ability to set and follow a schedule.
• Must be able to Nights and Saturdays when needed.
• Must be able to comply with safety protocols (training will be provided).
• Knowledge of Solidworks preferred
Experience/Education:

• Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program or Master's program.
• Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
• Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
Pay Rate: Minimum Wage
Anticipated End Date: June 30, 2027
