Additive Operations Engineer

Maintains and schedules 3D equipment, supports production, part organization, quality, and product design/R&D. Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, CAD and 3D printing software knowledge, and ability to lift 50 lbs.

We are looking for a highly motivated Engineering Technician to help grow and support ABCorp's 3D Additive Manufacturing segment. This position will be responsible for maintaining production by scheduling and maintaining 3D equipment. This is an opportunity to combine creativity with engineering expertise.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Collaborate with team members on product design, research & development, marketing and manufacturing teams to create highly functional products or services that are profitable and meet user needs
• Manage creating builds and production schedule with Operations Manager
• Assist in part organization
• Assist in quality when needed
• Conduct and/or use research on user experience and needs, current market trends and general functionality
• Work closely with the research and development team to integrate new improvements into designs and with quality team to ensure that quality standards are met
• Ability to maintain 3D equipment - HP training is required for this at ABCorp3D expense -
• Ability to use engineering inspection equipment
• Other duties in the department as business needs arise

Education and Experience Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Design, Civil or Electrical engineering or related field.
• Advanced computer skills
• CAD Knowledge, NX, OnShape, AutoCAD or SolidWorks
• Materialize Software or 3D printing software knowledge
• Analytical & Numeracy skills
• Additive Manufacturing Experience a Plus
