Cummings Properties is looking for a skilled and motivated HVAC Mechanical Engineer to join our in-house Architectural/Engineering team in Woburn, MA. If you have 10+ years of experience and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on, design/build environment, this is your opportunity to make an impact!
Primary responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our design, sustainability, purchasing, and construction teams to develop high-quality HVAC and piping systems.
- Design and prepare fit-ups and whole building HVAC systems for a variety of commercial and laboratory spaces.
- Assess and enhance existing HVAC systems for energy efficiency and performance.
- Work on exciting projects, including new multi-story residential and commercial buildings and energy retrofits.
- Sprinkler design experience? Even better!
Required qualifications:
- Expertise in commercial and multi-family residential HVAC/mechanical systems - design, construction, and maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication - graphic, written, and verbal.
- A Massachusetts Mechanical Engineering license.
- AutoCAD proficiency is preferred .
- Ability to visit local project sites and access active construction areas, including roofs.
