Supports industrial project teams through design, construction, commissioning, and start-up, including process design, reviewing specs/drawings/P&IDs, and coordinating with owners, design teams, and trade partners. Requires a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or equivalent, 7+ years’ experience, and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Leads project teams including owner, design team, and trade partners with an integrated approach to achieving scope, schedule and budget alignment
- Responsible for establishing an integrated team experience through role clarity, effective communication strategy, and facilitating a culture that fosters collaboration
- Facilitate and collaborate with internal departments and project teams
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration during design, construction, commissioning, and start-up
- Facilitate design/engineering and decision planning with the construction team, design team, and owner
- Manage, mentor and guide design team members and preconstruction team members to ensure clear direction and execution
- Manage, mentor and guide design assist trade partners to ensure effective integration with the project team
- Work with project teams to develop conceptual process design/engineering solutions for industrial pursuits
- Review design team's specifications, drawings, and P&IDs
- Ensure design meets owner's needs, quality, and program
Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience
Education/Qualifications/Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or other equivalent field
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
- 4+ years experience in group facilitation and implementing collaborative delivery is preferred
- Specific experience in industrial management design
- Specific experience in process layout, process design, cleanroom, food and beverage, packaging is preferred
- Strong CAD, Plant 3D, Navisworks, and Revit capability preferred
- Ability and willingness to travel.
- Passionate about leading change and improving industry processes
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to speak confidently in groups of 30+
- Ability to coach complex and diverse groups
- Ability and desire to master new skills
