HVAC Technician
Hands-on commercial or industrial HVAC maintenance and repair for an industrial facility, including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, repairs, and service records. Requires EPA 608 certification and 3+ years’ experience preferred; offers medical, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, and 401k match.
A well-established organization outside of Harrisburg, PA is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to support the operation and maintenance of one of their industrial facilities. This is a hands-on position responsible for keeping critical HVAC and environmental systems operating safely, efficiently, and reliably. The ideal candidate brings strong commercial or industrial HVAC experience, enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment, and can work independently while collaborating with facility and maintenance teams.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and servicing of commercial and/or industrial HVAC systems and related equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, airflow, and controls-related issues to minimize downtime and maintain reliable facility operations
- Monitor system performance, including temperature, humidity, and airflow, and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and efficiency
- Respond to equipment failures and service needs, completing repairs safely and in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate service records and collaborate with facility and maintenance teams on HVAC-related needs
Required Skills
- EPA 608 Certification required
- 3+ years of hands-on commercial or industrial HVAC maintenance and repair experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills across HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, and control systems
- Experience working with larger or more complex HVAC equipment in a commercial, manufacturing, industrial, or critical-facility environment strongly preferred
- Ability to independently diagnose issues, determine appropriate repairs, and safely complete hands-on maintenance work
