Occupational Therapist - Outpatient
Provides occupational therapy evaluation and treatment to restore function and prevent disabilities, with cross-training to support Acute Care. Schedule is set at hire; requires one holiday and one holiday weekend day annually, NBCOT, BLS from AHA, OTR, a bachelor's in Occupational Therapy, and pediatrics/pelvic health experience.
SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Department Director and the Occupational Therapy Supervisor, provides quality occupational therapy services to patients through evaluation and administration of treatment to restore function and prevent disabilities.
A schedule will be established at the time of hire, and will either be 5–8-hour days, working 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. or 4–10-hour days, working 8 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., with off day being determined at time of hire. Will be cross-trained to support Acute Care and will be required to work one holiday and one holiday weekend day annually at a minimum. Experience either as a student or in clinical practice with pediatrics and pelvic health is indicated to apply for this role.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
