System Assistant Controller
Maintains general ledgers and supports the Accounting Department under the System Controller. Requires 5 years of healthcare accounting experience, computer skills, advanced Excel, and a bachelor's degree; CPA or a master's in a related field is preferred.
SUMMARY: SUMMARY: Under the direction of the System Controller, maintains the integrity of the Organization's general ledgers and aids in the overall effectiveness of the Accounting Department.
EXPERIENCE:
EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of healthcare accounting experience.
- Hospital and/or Medical Group/Physician accounting experience preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
- Computer skills required,
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
OTHER: Bachelor's degree plus CPA preferred, but a Master's degree in related field is accepted in lieu of CPA.
LICENSE/CERT: Preferred: CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
