Interventional Radiology Tech
Assists radiologists with interventional procedures using fluoroscopy, radiography, and CT, and supports Radiology Department operations. Requires ARRT(R), AHA BLS and ACLS, and graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program.
SUMMARY: SUMMARY: Assists radiologists with performance of interventional procedures utilizing fluoroscopy, radiography, and computerized tomography.Implements and assists in duties enabling the Radiology Department to operate efficiently.
EXPERIENCE: One year of experience as a radiologic technologist, registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with the ARRT (R) designation. Additional credentials of ARRT (CT) or (VI) and two years clinical experience in interventional radiology preferred.
LICENSE/CERT: Required: ARRT(R) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiology), BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), ACLS (Advance Cardiac Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)
EDUCATION: Required: Technical/Certificate - Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
