Occupational Therapist (PRN)
Provides occupational therapy evaluation and treatment for adult acute care and pediatric patients. PRN schedule includes 1-2 weekdays, 1 weekend per month, 1 holiday and 1 holiday weekend annually, with 8- or 10-hour shifts.
SUMMARY: SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Department Director and the Occupational Therapy Supervisor, provides quality occupational therapy services to patients through evaluation and administration of treatment to restore function and prevent disabilities.
Occupational therapist to support acute care adults and pediatric populations at our main campus location at NKC Health. The employee will need to be available 1–2 days during the week and 2 weekend days per month for pediatric support coupled with adult acute care. OTR candidates that also have additional outpatient experience outside of pediatrics would be welcomed to apply. Weekend and holiday needs will be adult focused.
We require all PRN staff to work 1 weekend per month (2 weekend days can be a Sat/Sun or 2 Sat, 2 Sun or a mixture). We also require a minimum of 1 holiday and 1 holiday weekend annually. We have options for both 8 and 10 hour shifts.
New graduates that have had clinical experience with pediatrics and acute care are welcome to apply.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
LICENSE/CERT: Required: OTR (Occupational Therapist), NBCOT (National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy), BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)
EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors - Occupational Therapy
