Provides basic nursing care and support tasks, including ambulation, bathing, toileting, vital signs, newborn to geriatric transport, and perioperative preparation. Requires CNA and AHA BLS; hospital experience and high school or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, RN, LPN, you will play a vital role in the care of patients by performing basic nursing care and support tasks on assigned units.
- Provide patient care such as: ambulation, bathing, toileting, obtaining vital signs, all while maintaining a safe environment.
- Assist in the transportation and perioperative preparation of newborn, pediatric, adolescents and geriatric patients.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills to accurately convey patient information to RN, LPN and other members of the team in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate basic computer skills to accurately record vital patient information.
Experience: Hospital experience-Preferred
License/Certification/Education:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)-Required
- CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant)-Required
- High School or Equivalent-Preferred
