Payor Enrollment Credentialing Specialist
Supports onboarding workflows and credentialing-related enrollment activities, manages expirable items, and communicates with clinics, billing teams, leadership, and Central Verification Office staff. Requires high school or equivalent and 1-2 years in provider enrollment, medical staff services, or credentialing tasks; NAMSS preferred.
SUMMARY: The Payor Enrollment Credentialing Specialist supports onboarding workflows, assists with credentialing-related enrollment activities, manages expirable, and ensures timely communication with clinics, billing teams, and leadership. The Specialist assists the Payor Enrollment Coordinator as needed and works closely with Central Verification Office staff as well.
EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years in a provider enrollment, medical staff services, or working on credentialing tasks for a medical practice.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Organization - competing priorities and juggling tasks, Communication - strong written and verbal communication skills working with physicians, advanced practice professionals, and senior leadership. Specific payor enrollment or managed care experience preferred.
LICENSE/CERT: Preferred: NAMSS (National Association of Medical Staff Services)
