Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 Depending on shift
Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire OpportunityNow Hiring Certified Reach Truck Operators!PRT Staffing is hiring skilled Reach Truck Operators to support a leading cold storage warehouse operation in Baytown, TX.This is an opportunity with consistent hours, strong leadership onsite, and the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance.What You'll Be Doing
  • Operate reach trucks to move, load, and store product safely
  • Pick, stage, and organize orders for shipment
  • Work in receiving, selecting, and picking functions (cross-training required)
  • Verify product accuracy, labels, and quantities
  • Follow all safety procedures and operating standards
  • Report any safety concerns or near-miss incidents proactively
  • Support overall warehouse operations as needed
Work Environment
  • Cold storage facility with multiple temperature zones:
    • Cooler (~30°F)
    • Freezer (~15°F)
    • Blast freeze (as low as -10°F)
  • PPE and freezer gear provided (must be worn at all times)
  • Fast-paced and performance-driven environment
What We're Looking ForRequired:
  • Minimum 2 years of reach truck experience (recent and consistent)
  • Ability to safely operate equipment in a cold environment
  • Ability to lift and move product (up to 50 lbs regularly; heavier loads with equipment assistance)
  • Strong attention to safety and detail
  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance
Preferred:
  • Experience in cold storage or food distribution warehouses
  • Familiarity with RF scanners or warehouse systems
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

  • This is a safety-sensitive position
  • Zero tolerance for unsafe equipment practices or cell phone usage while operating equipment
  • Strong attendance is critical for success in this role
