Job SummaryPRT Staffing is hiring experienced Stand-Up Forklift Operators to support warehouse and distribution operations for one of our valued clients. The ideal candidate has prior stand-up forklift experience, strong attention to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, organized environment.Key Responsibilities
- Operate stand-up forklift equipment to move, load, unload, and stage materials.
- Transport pallets and materials throughout the warehouse accurately and safely.
- Perform material handling functions including picking, pulling, stacking, and inventory movement.
- Inspect forklifts before and after use; report any mechanical or safety issues.
- Follow all client and PRT Staffing safety guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain clean, orderly, and hazard-free work areas.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Minimum 6 months - 1 year of stand-up forklift experience (or as required by the client).
- Ability to operate stand-up reach trucks and pallet riders safely.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attendance, reliability, and work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Must pass all necessary screenings and forklift evaluations
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Strong attention to detail and safety-first mindset.
