What You'll Do

• Apply didactic learning and pharmacy practice in a real-world setting under supervision.
• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap to understand store, district, and regional operations.
• Assist the pharmacy team in ensuring smooth operations and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Offer patient counseling, field medical questions, and solicit medical history for optimal care.
• Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify with prescribers as allowed by state regulations.
• Provide in-the-moment coaching and mentoring to pharmacy team members, sharing best practices.
• Support immunization services, including preparing and administering vaccines, and educating patients.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, professional standards, and the organization's policies and procedures for patient safety and privacy.

What We're Looking For

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program with our client.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation.
• Possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to pivot quickly between tasks.
• Excellent customer service and team orientation, with active listening and empathy.
• Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Sound mathematical reasoning for prescription calculations.
• Ability to be mobile, remain upright for extended periods, and perform physical demands of the role.
• 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting is preferred.
• Ability to become immunization certified and work across market locations is preferred.
