Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and optimize manufacturing operations. The Production Manager will oversee daily production activities, ensure product quality, maintain safety and compliance, and drive continuous improvement to meet production targets. This role requires strong leadership, production planning skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments. Spanish language ability and manufacturing experience are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop production staff; maintain staffing levels and manage shift schedules.
  • Monitor production performance metrics (yield, throughput, downtime) and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
  • Enforce safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and maintain a clean, organized production environment.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, maintenance, quality assurance, and engineering to resolve production issues and support new product introductions.
  • Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods in coordination with purchasing and warehouse teams.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, 5S) to reduce waste, lower costs, and increase throughput.
  • Prepare production reports, forecasts, and KPIs for senior management and participate in budget planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production roles with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management position.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, process optimization, quality control, and safety regulations.
  • Proven experience leading continuous improvement programs (Lean, Six Sigma or similar).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
  • Working proficiency in Spanish (English/Spanish) to support multilingual teams and shift communications required
  • Familiarity with manufacturing systems (ERP/MRP) and data-driven performance monitoring tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing production demands.
