Location: Buffalo Grove, IL
Salary: $90K-$110K (salary depends on experience)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Field Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities, ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. The Field Superintendent will lead daily field operations, manage subcontractors and trades, enforce safety and quality protocols, and coordinate with project management and stakeholders to drive successful project delivery across commercial, industrial, retail, and other building types.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within scope.
• Manage, coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and site personnel to maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Implement and enforce site safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
• Review plans, specifications, and submittals; conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.
• Develop and maintain daily logs, progress reports, site schedules, RFIs, change order documentation, and other project records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Field Superintendent or Construction Superintendent on commercial or industrial construction projects; strong construction background required.
• 3+ years of field supervision experience 
• Preferred experience or familiarity with project types such as Retail, Industrial, Commercial, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Data Center, Electrical, Ground-Up, Hospitality, Mission Critical, Educational, Multi-family/Residential, Hotel, Hospital.
• Deep understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, project sequencing, and construction safety standards (OSHA certifications preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and submittals.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with proven problem-solving ability in the field.
• Proficiency with construction management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, PlanGrid, or similar is a plus.
