Pay: $80,000 - $100,000
We are a pioneer in solid-state thermoelectric technology delivering advanced thermal management solutions across medical device, aerospace, defense, data center cooling, and industrial electronics markets. We are seeking a Thermal Design Engineer to join our growing Austin-based engineering team and help bring innovative cooling solutions from concept through production.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop thermal models using SolidWorks Flow Simulation and other CFD tools
- Support the design and integration of thermal management systems
- Build and test prototype assemblies in a laboratory environment
- Utilize thermocouples, DAQ equipment, thermal cameras, and power supplies to collect performance data
- Compare simulation results against physical testing and improve designs accordingly
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering teams
- Document simulation findings, test results, and design recommendations
What You Need For This Job
- 2+ years of thermal engineering, product development, or mechanical engineering experience
- SolidWorks experience
- CFD modeling experience
- Understanding of heat transfer and thermodynamics
- Hands-on laboratory testing experience
- Strong analytical and communication skills
