Oversees residential and large-loss insurance restoration reconstruction projects, managing schedules, subcontractors, budgets, documentation, and jobsite visits. Requires 3+ years project management experience preferred, insurance restoration experience preferred, a valid driver's license, and U.S. work authorization.
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Restoration Project Manager to oversee residential and large-loss reconstruction projects throughout the Twin Cities. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, proactive, accountable, and comfortable taking full ownership of projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate understands both construction and the insurance restoration process and can manage customers, subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and project documentation without constant oversight. Responsibilities Manage insurance reconstruction projects from handoff through final completion Create and maintain project schedules Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, materials, permits, and inspections Conduct regular jobsite visits and quality-control checks Communicate consistently with homeowners, adjusters, subcontractors, and internal staff Review insurance scopes and identify missing items or supplement opportunities Monitor project budgets, subcontractor costs, change orders, and profitability Maintain accurate project notes, photos, documentation, and progress updates Identify potential delays or problems early and develop solutions Ensure proper trade sequencing and material availability Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors Keep projects moving efficiently while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications 3+ years of project management experience preferred Insurance restoration experience strongly preferred Fire, water, large-loss, or reconstruction experience is a major plus Strong understanding of residential construction and trade sequencing Familiarity with Xactimate and insurance estimating preferred Experience reviewing scopes, supplements, and change orders Strong communication and customer-service skills Ability to manage multiple active projects at the same time Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Understanding of project budgets and cost control Comfortable holding subcontractors and vendors accountable Valid driver's license and clean driving record
