What You'll Do
- Manage litigation matters from initial filing through resolution
- Develop case strategy and oversee all phases of discovery
- Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
- Prepare cases for trial and actively participate in courtroom proceedings
- Advise clients regarding legal risks, strategy, and outcomes
- Negotiate settlements when appropriate while aggressively advocating client interests
- Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar
- Litigation experience preferred
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
- Excellent courtroom presence and communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively
