Title: Field Service Technician - Flexo / Printing
Location: U.S. Based.
Base Pay: $70,000 - $90,000
What You Will Be Doing
- Travel 80-90% across U.S. Canada & EU to install, commission, service, and troubleshoot flexographic presses and converting equipment
- Diagnose and repair electro-mechanical systems: PLC/HMI navigation, VFDs, servos, sensors, pneumatics, some hydraulics, drives, and motion control
- Perform startups, calibrations, alignment, and web handling setup (tension, registration, dryers, cooling) and validate machine performance at customer sites
- Train customer operators/maintenance on operation, safety, basic troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance; document service reports and parts needs
- Work independently with remote support from EU engineering; prioritize tickets, manage travel and spare parts, and represent the OEM on customer floors
What You Need For This Job
- International Travel.
- Strong electro-mechanical skill set: PLC/HMI literacy (Allen-Bradley or Siemens), VFD/servo drives, pneumatics, basic hydraulics, sensors, wiring, schematics
- Experience with complex industrial equipment; flexographic or printing press experience strongly preferred; web handling and registration exposure a plus
- Bosch/Bosch Rexroth drives experience highly preferred; able to interface with OEM engineering and follow commissioning procedures and SOPs
- Clear communicator and customer-facing demeanor; disciplined documentation; safety-focused; thrives with minimal on-site supervision
