Position Overview
The Tax Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of tax compliance and planning for the organization. This role requires a thorough understanding of tax regulations and the ability to provide strategic tax advice to ensure the organization meets its legal obligations while optimizing its tax position.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and deadlines.
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, focusing on high net worth individuals and businesses.
- Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to provide guidance on complex tax issues.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and tax compliance.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize tax efficiency.
- Assist in audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance and planning.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
- Experience in public accounting is a plus.
- Familiarity with high net worth individual taxation is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
