Position Overview
A leading nationwide mechanical contractor is looking to bring on a Senior Project Manager - Mechanical who will oversee and manage complex mechanical engineering projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and sheet metal, and a strong background in commercial and/or industrial construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from concept through to completion.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review and approve engineering designs, calculations, and technical documentation.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project managers and engineering staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical project management.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, piping, and sheet metal.
  • Proven experience in industrial construction project management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
