Position Overview
We are a well-established Connecticut law firm, on the look out for a self-motivated Settlement & Estate Planning Associate Attorney to join us in our Hartford or New Haven office. Our ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience drafting estate planning documents, designing and implementing estate plans, advising fiduciaries, administering trusts and estates, and researching related tax and legal issues.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
  • 3+ years of experience in estate and settlement planning 
  • Active license to practice in the state of Connecticut
  • Exceptional writing and interpersonal skills
  • Sound judgment and initiative
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with attorneys, staff, and fiduciary managers
