Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Estimator to join our preconstruction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience estimating large-scale commercial and/or data center projects and be highly proficient in Accubid software. This role is critical to our continued growth and success, offering the opportunity to work on marquee projects with top-tier clients.

 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of detailed electrical estimates for large commercial and data center projects.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
• Utilize Accubid software to develop accurate takeoffs, pricing, and bid packages.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients during the preconstruction phase.
• Evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotes to ensure competitive and complete pricing.
• Participate in bid reviews, value engineering, and scope clarification meetings.
• Maintain current knowledge of market conditions, labor rates, and material costs.
• Mentor junior estimators and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of electrical estimating experience, with a focus on large commercial and/or data center projects.
• Expert-level proficiency with Accubid estimating software.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical documents.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proven track record of delivering accurate and competitive estimates under tight deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
