Corporate M&A Attorney

Position Summary

We are seeking a talented Corporate Attorney with strong M&A experience to join our Pittsburgh office. This role offers a unique opportunity to primarily focus on mergers and acquisitions and corporate transactional work while also supporting our active Real Estate practice. The ideal candidate is a mid-to-senior level attorney with substantial experience in M&A and general corporate matters who is also interested in gaining exposure to real estate transactions. This hybrid role will allow you to work on sophisticated corporate deals while contributing to the firm's Real Estate practice group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support complex M&A transactions, including due diligence, drafting and negotiation of transaction documents, and deal closings.
  • Handle general corporate matters such as entity formation, governance, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide transactional support to the Real Estate practice, including commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development work.
  • Collaborate with partners and associates across both Corporate and Real Estate practices to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Manage multiple matters efficiently while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Participate in business development efforts and client relationship management.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar (or eligibility to waive in).
  • 3+ years of relevant transactional experience, with a strong emphasis on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and corporate work.
  • Experience or strong interest in supporting real estate transactional matters.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and client service skills.
