EMERGENCY ROOM TRAUMA TECHNICIAN

Assists nursing staff with direct, indirect, and environmental tasks for emergency services patients under RN and ED attending direction. Helps with admissions, transfers, and discharges, and carries out assignments from the Patient Care Coordinator/RN.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN) and ED Attending (MD), the Trauma Technician assists the nursing staff in providing direct, indirect, and environmental tasks to a variety of patients who are accessing emergency services.
