Job description

Summary:

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Westchester Medical Center is recruiting for a full-time faculty member in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM).

The MFM Division serves as a resource and referral center for 15 hospitals and obstetrical care providers from the seven counties of the lower Hudson Valley in the State of New York.  The division offers a diverse work environment including inpatient and outpatient perinatal consultations, management of high-risk pregnancies, perinatal diagnosis and ultrasound, antepartum testing and perinatal outreach.   Candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics/Gynecology and MFM, fellowship trained in MFM, New York licensed (or license eligible), and must exhibit a passion for excellence and achievement, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

 

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate would have demonstrated ability and experience in managing medical, surgical, obstetrical, fetal and genetic complications of pregnancy and working collaboratively with other obstetric care providers in consultations, co-management, and transfer of care. Proficiency in high-risk perinatal ultrasounds and ultrasound-guided procedures is highly desirable.
