Job description
The Program Manager is responsible managing the daily and clinical operations of the outpatient program. The Program Manager is accountable for the ensuring the program is operating within OASAS 822 outpatient program regulations and meeting patient and quality care standards. The Program Manager is responsible for clinical supervision of counseling staff, oversight of office management, coordination with program Medical Director and medical providers and ensuring adherence to program policies, procedures, state and federal guidelines and regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitoring the treatment and care of all patients enrolled or utilizing services in the program
- Responsible for clinical supervision of counseling staff and facilitation of clinical case conference
- Compliance with program policy and procedure and OASAS 822 Outpatient Program guidelines
- Review of electronic medical records to ensure patients are receiving appropriate level of care and services
- Maintaining an updated program census including patient assessment, admission and discharge data
- Provide support and coordination of care to Medical Director and program medical providers
- Supervision of office and administrative staff
- Provide support in office management, daily operations, supplies and addressing building issues and concerns
- Report to Director of Outpatient Addictions Programs. Provide information and data on quality of care, compliance with regulations, and utilization review
- Preparation and coordination in maintaining program standards during program Surveys and Reviews
- Responsible for program service goals initiatives and report out to Director of Outpatient Addictions programs
- Collaboration with community partners and participation in coordination with treatment and service partnerships
- Planning and implementation of in-service trainings and continuing care
- Oversite, planning, approval and coverage of staff time off and program coverage
- Other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 years of clinical experience in counseling, group work, and supervision, required
EDUCATION
- Master’s degree in Social work or other related programs, required
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), required
