Job Summary:

The Department Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the overseeing and optimization of the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity. This position assists with the majority of administrative processes, staff coordination, and operational planning to enhance service delivery and organizational effectiveness throughout the WMCHealth Network. Additionally, supporting the CIO as the Department Coordinator.  Also supports IT budgeting, timekeeping, and contract  management to ensure financial efficiency and compliance.

 

                  Responsibilities: 

  • Manages and maintain CIO’s (Cheif Information Officer) calendar- schedule, reschedule and cancel appointments, meetings and events as needed, ensuring the CIO’s calendar is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Assists with overseeing and optimizing the daily operations to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
  • Handles the administrative processes, staff coordination, and operational planning.
  • Enhances service delivery and organizational effectiveness.
  • Supports the IT budgeting processes, including planning, monitoring, invoicing and reporting.
  • Manages timekeeping systems to ensure accurate tracking of employee hours and compliance with policies.
  • Plays a key role in contract management, including negotiation, execution, payment schedule and compliance monitoring.
  • Collaborates with other departments to ensure alignment of operational goals and objectives.
  • Develops and implements strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitors and analyzes key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Education:

  • Associate’s degree, required
