Shift: Day Shift  (12 hour rotating shifts - 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off)
Contract: 6+ Months – Possibility for Extension or FTE Conversion
Pay Rate: $22/hr

 
JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking to add top talent to our Production Support team. The Material Handler performs operations of the Supply Chain/Materials Management department with awareness and knowledge of the various areas of the operations in Goods Movement, Inventory Control, and Good Documentation Practices all within a cGMP environment. The Material Handler will be assigned to different sections that also involves areas controlled and used for production. Over time, these areas will require cross training to gain knowledge of the complete operations for the site.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain general supplies and stock materials for daily usage by production team(s).
  • Operate with a Safety First state of mind at all times.
  • Attain basic understanding of material flow from controlled non-classified (CNC) spaces into classified production spaces.
  • Operate GMP Autoclave in order to prepare supplies and documents needed for production.
  • Accurately enter a variety of SAP transactions (Material Movements) ensuring compliance with cGMP requirements and SOPs.
  • Prepare items for production use (i.e. decontamination of materials, physical transfers) to include systemic transactions.
  • Continue with ongoing required area training to increase knowledge and understanding.
  • Complete on the job training (OJT) for operational equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 
Key Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Experience within a cGMP environment preferred.
  • Prior SAP exposure preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge including MS Office Suite Programs.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow-up to meet critical deadlines.
  • Ability to work as a team player.
