Job description
Program Manager
Location: Fully remote (U.S.)
Duration: Initial 8-month contract (possible extension/conversion)
Schedule: 40 hours; M-F
Target Start: ASAP
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid vacation & sick leave
Job Overview:
The Creators initiative is a high-visibility program structured to identify high-potential content creators and accelerate their audience growth through dedicated, white-glove support. The program assists selected creators in expanding their distribution, monetization capabilities, and overall platform reach, with the strategic objective of fostering organic creator advocacy.
Operating under a venture capital model, the program identifies breakout talent, provides targeted investments to accelerate growth, and graduates established creators to onboard subsequent cohorts. Following strong preliminary performance, the program has received leadership authorization to scale its operations from approximately 900 creators to a target capacity of 2,000 to 2,500 creators.
Immediate Business Requirements
With approximately 600 current participants graduating alongside the planned program expansion, there is an immediate operational requirement to evaluate and onboard roughly 2,000 creators for the upcoming cohort. The incoming Program Lead will prioritize an immediate sprint focused on sourcing, evaluating, and selecting qualified candidates for this cohort. Leadership seeks to onboard the candidate within a 1–2 week timeframe.
Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-day: Source, select, and onboard culturally relevant, high-potential creators (a "nose" for breakout talent). Run day-to-day program operations end-to-end. Monitor creator growth, reach, and advocacy; decide continued investment vs. offboarding. Interface across Marketing, Partnerships, Product, and Engineering. Use data/dashboards + cultural intuition to guide picks.
Pursuant to the California Fair Chance Act, Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, and San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, qualified applicants will be considered for assignment with arrest and conviction records. Criminal history may have a direct, adverse, and negative relationship with some of the material job duties of this position. These include the duties and responsibilities listed above, as well as the abilities to adhere to company policies, exercise sound judgment, effectively manage stress and work safely and respectfully with others, exhibit trustworthiness, meet client expectations, standards, and accompanying requirements, and safeguard business operations and company reputation.

Use data/dashboards + cultural intuition to guide picks.
- Creator Selection: Identify high-potential creators by leveraging data analytics alongside nuanced cultural and audience judgment.
- Program Execution: Direct day-to-day operations and coordinate cross-functional alignment across Product, Marketing, Partnerships, and other internal teams to deliver comprehensive support.
- Cohort Performance Management: Maintain detailed oversight of cohort metrics; monitor reach, distribution, and content quality to inform decisions regarding continued investment or offboarding.
- Advocacy & Strategic Insights: Track and document notable instances of cross-platform creator advocacy (e.g., Instagram, TikTok) and report key success stories to executive leadership.
- Creator Experience Strategy: Refine selection messaging, communication protocols, and engagement frameworks across the full program lifecycle.
- Analytical Research: Utilize performance dashboards, AI/LLM tools, and market research to monitor engagement dynamics and broader cultural trends.
- Cultural Acumen: Possess a deep understanding of US and Canadian cultural landscapes, with the ability to identify content creators who resonate across diverse demographic segments.
- Program Leadership: Demonstrated track record of managing complex, high-profile initiatives while making sound strategic business decisions.
- Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management: Proven capability to influence, align, and drive deliverables across diverse organizational stakeholders without direct reporting authority.
- Resourcefulness: A self-directed operating style with the ability to function effectively within a lean team structure and leverage emerging technologies independently.
- Product Awareness: While core product infrastructure is established, basic product acumen is beneficial to complement cultural judgment and leadership capabilities.
- Targeting candidates operating at the IC6–IC7 equivalent level; practical capability, hands-on execution, and cultural alignment are prioritized over formal title.
- Preferred industry backgrounds include the creator economy, media and entertainment, talent acquisition/management, or cultural strategy.
- Client will present a slate of qualified candidates within the IC6–IC7 scope.
- This initiative represents a sustained, long-term program rather than a short-term project engagement.
- Initial support is required for a minimum of 8 months, with current projections extending into 2027.
- Six-Month Post-Selection Evaluation: Did the selection process successfully identify high-impact creators?
- Success is defined by creators achieving measurable reach expansion, increasing their cultural relevance, and serving as credible platform advocates within the broader creator community.
- Cultural intuition / creator judgment — a proven "nose" for spotting breakout creators who resonate across US & Canadian audiences (the core of the role).
- Program & stakeholder management — able to run a complex, high-profile program end-to-end and drive cross-functional delivery (Marketing, Partnerships, Product, Engineering) without direct authority.
- Data-informed decision-making — comfortable using dashboards, metrics, and AI/LLM tools to evaluate creators and manage cohort performance.
- Prior Meta experience — to navigate internal orgs quickly and hit the ground running.
- Creator-economy background — experience with similar programs (YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram) or media/entertainment/talent management.
- Product acumen — basic product awareness to complement the cultural and leadership strengths.
