Pharmacy Technician
Pay: $21.00/hour | Paid Weekly
Location: Lewisville, TX
Schedule: schedule may include weekends, holidays, nights, or on-call shifts

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations. This role will focus on prescription data entry, refill requests, inbound and outbound calls, order problem resolution, and assisting the fulfillment team with preparing medication orders.
The ideal candidate is accurate, organized, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
Primary Responsibilities

Accurately enter prescription information into the pharmacy system.

Process and initiate prescription refill requests.

Handle inbound and outbound calls related to prescriptions and orders.

Identify and resolve prescription or order-related issues.

Assist the fulfillment team with scanning, labeling, and packing medication orders.

Maintain accuracy, safety, integrity, and professionalism throughout pharmacy operations.

Follow all pharmacy policies, procedures, and established safety protocols.

Work closely with team members to ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

Push medication carts and deliver medications or supplies to designated areas within the hospital or healthcare facility as needed.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Ability to remain attentive and accurate during extended periods of activity.
